let's get real: a little about me!
Our time together at your session will be all about capturing the real you. So, it's only fair that I let you in on the real me, too! Here are a few random facts to get us started:
-
I’ve survived the senior year rollercoaster: As a mom to a son and daughter who have already graduated, I know exactly how emotional and crazy this season is for parents! I’m enjoying the empty-nest ride with my hilarious husband, Vince. And yep, that means I'm married to the original Vince Vaughan, who occasionally gets fan mail from people who think the star of "Wedding Crashers" is hiding out in Minnesota!
-
I used to work for Teen and Sassy magazines in L.A.: It was my absolute dream job growing up, and I couldn't believe it when I got to write the personality quizzes that had ruled my teen life! Now, my dream job is getting behind the camera and making you feel like you belong on the cover of a magazine.
-
I am a very enthusiastic cheerleader: I’ve been known to literally squeal with delight when we get "the shot." I’ve been told it’s fun and not totally annoying, but you can decide for yourself by watching these behind-the-scenes videos (filmed by two of my amazing former seniors from STMA and Zimmerman High Schools!)
-
I am obsessed with reality TV: Consider this my official confession! Whether it's the strategy of Survivor, the pinky promises on The Traitors, or the psychology of Beast Games, count me in!
-
I am easily bribed: Want me to edit your photos faster? Bring chocolate! I once gained 12 pounds in two months eating Special K bars – with a name like that, who knew they weren't for breakfast?!
-
I traded California beaches for Minnesota winters: People always ask what made us move from sunny CA to MN. The short answer? It was God! Hard to argue with that one, right? And I'm so happy we followed – what's not to love about Minnesota nice?!
-
I absolutely 100% love what I do: Honestly, I can't even call it a job, because it never actually feels like work. Between hanging out with amazing people and getting to be creative every day... what a lucky, lucky girl I am!
